Mother’s Day is fast approaching (it’s on Sunday 11th March if you’re wondering) and although it’s a day to show love and appreciation to your mother, I think it’s always nice to give a thoughtful gift to her as well…if you can afford to, obviously. If you can’t afford to then there are lots of free things you can do to show your appreciation. Offer to clean her home, paint her nails, watch a movie together (WITHOUT looking at your phone) or even take a trip to your local park and have a picnic and catchup.
If you’ve got a spare tenner though and want to buy the woman who raised you a thoughtful gift, then check out my list of wonderful gifts below. And guess what? They’re all under £10! And let’s be honest, we all love a bargain.
Personalised Mug – £7.99 Funky Pigeon
There are so many mugs around with “Best Mum in the World” on but why not go one better and get a personalised mug with a photo of the two of you printed on it?
Almond Indulgence Body Care Set – £8.10 Debenhams
If your mother is a bath person then she’ll love this luxurious bath set. It contains almond shower oil, almond milk concentrate, almond hand cream and a nail file.
Personalised Calendar – £10 Moonpig
Does your mum love photographs? If so, then she’ll adore a personalised calendar with family pictures printed on each month’s page.
Cellulite Massager – £4.99 Prezzy Box
Okay, so this one may not be your mum’s cup of tea, but if she’s anything like mine and moans about her stretch marks and cellulite all the time then she may just love this massager. It breaks down the cellulite toxins underneath the skin and helps drain excess fluids. I might try it for myself!
Vibrating Body Massager – £7.99 Prezzy Box
Now this one might be more to your Mum’s taste. It’s perfect for destressing and relaxation, and has different settings & pads to help relieve tension.
“Loveliest Mum” Hanging Decoration – £4 Next
If your mum likes cute decorations and signs around the house then she’s sure to like this heart shaped decoration piece.
Personalised Slate Coaster – £8 Next
As you’ve probably noticed, there’s definitely a personalised theme going on here, but I think these types of gifts show that a lot of thought and effort has gone into purchasing them.
Mum: Quote Book – £6.99 Asos
This is actually one of my favourites on this list. It’s a cute little book full of heartwarming quotes and statements.
Stress Less Well-Being Book – £8.99 Asos
Does your mum feel stressed quite often? Does she work hard but finds it hard to unwind? Then this book is the perfect book for her. It’s a hardback book full of hacks, tips and inspiring quotes to teach the reader how to live their life to the fullest.
Winery & Brewery Tour for Two – £10 Virgin Experience Days
Now there are so many experience days which I’m sure your mother would love, for example spa days, tea for two etc, but this is the only one I found within the £10 budget. The Virgin Experience website has lots of experience days available so definitely check it out if this one doesn’t take your fancy!
And there we have it, 10 Mother’s Day gifts under £10. What are you doing for your Mum this year? Do you have any Mother’s Day traditions or do you not celebrate it at all? Let me know in the comments or on Twitter.
