If you’ve come to the end of January and succeeded in not breaking your new year diet, then well done you! I wish I could say I stuck to mine….but after two weeks of eating what felt like nothing, I gave in and ate all the left-over chocolates from Christmas. And, you guessed it, I felt like crap afterwards. My diet is something I really struggle with as I’m constantly around people who can eat whatever they want and not put on a single lb, my boyfriend being one of them.


I’m good at sticking to exercise regimes (check out my article on Gabby Allen’s fitness app here) and I run quite often too so I know it’s definitely my diet which is the problem for me. I mean, they do say weight-loss is 20% exercise and 80% diet, don’t they?

I went on a mission recently to find snacks which I can eat instead of chocolate, as snacking is a big weakness of mine. When I’m bored, I snack. When I’m tired, I snack. When I’m miserable, I snack. Since I swapped chocolate & crisps for these healthy snacks I found, I feel so much better and can already see the weight dropping off.

If snacking is a big weakness for you, then try swapping the chocolates and biscuits for these clean snacks. If I can do it, you can too.
