It’s that time of year again, when movies like Love Actually, It’s A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street are being shown on our television screens.
Now, I LOVE those movies. In fact, I love all Christmas movies and I even start watching them in September. But Christmas is about spending time with your family and loved ones, not just about gifts, sparkly lights and Christmas movies. Most people tend to get a couple of days off work to spend the holidays with their families and sometimes there’s nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa and laughing (or crying) to a classic movie together. There are so many amazing movies out there that are getting talked about less and less each year.
It’s time to remember the good films, spend some quality time with our families and laugh and cry our faces off! I’m deliberately not listing Christmas films as I want these films to be watched and appreciated all throughout the year!
1. Mrs Doubtfire
2. Matilda
3. Dirty Dancing
4. Shrek
5. Pearl Harbour
6. Mary Poppins
7. ET
8. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
9. The Lion King
10. Babe
